Characteristics of 7075 aluminum:
7075 refers to a commonly used alloy among 7 series aluminum alloys. The most common aluminum alloy with the best strength is 7075 alloy. It is commonly used in CNC cutting and manufacturing parts, and is suitable for flying machine frames and high-strength parts. The 7 series aluminum alloy contains zinc and magnesium elements. Zinc is the main alloy element in this series, so the corrosion resistance is quite good. Adding a little magnesium alloy can make the material reach a very high strength after heat treatment.
The 7 series aluminum alloy belongs to Al-Zn-Mg-Cu series super-hard aluminum, which is an ultra-high-strength deformed aluminum alloy that has been widely used in the aircraft industry in the late 1940s and is still widely used in the aviation industry. Its characteristics are: good plasticity after solution treatment, particularly good heat treatment strengthening effect, high strength below 150 ℃, and particularly good low temperature strength; poor welding performance; tendency to stress corrosion cracking; need to be covered with aluminum or other Protective use. Two-stage aging can improve the alloy's resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
